Analysis of use of the content of the fluorinated greenhouse gases in Lithuania in 1990-2011

 The purpose of was to evaluate the fluorinated greenhouse gases in the industrial processes sector according to the categories of sources recommended by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). In order to ensure the accurate and complete accounting of emissions of greenhouse gases, the detailed analysis of the use of fluorinated gases in Lithuania was carried out and methodological guidelines for accounting of fluorinated gas emissions (indicators of leakage from equipment, emission factors, and others offered) in accordance with source categories recommended following the methodology specified by the IPCC, as well as proposals for the submission, collection and processing of data on fluorinated gases, and improvement of accounting procedures of equipment and systems containing these gases or materials were presented. The analysis performed included the period of 1990-2011.
